I absolutely loved JUST FOR THE SUMMER by Abby Jimenez! This is the second of her books that I've read, and I plan to read her backlist soon. The romance is swoony, the AITA Reddit thread and jokes made me laugh, and the mental health aspects made me tear up. I loved how these two characters had to deal with so much more than just their attraction to each other. The best friends and the siblings are great side characters, but the growth that each main character had to go through for the relationship to work really sold the story for me. I also appreciated that, like real life, the middle was messy, and no one in the book is perfect.
