E. Aster Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth's Core! by William Joyce
3.0
If you have watched the Rise of the Guardians animated movie and wanted to learn more about the lovable Australian tattoo covered, boomerang wielding giant rabbit, this is not the book for you. While it does feature Bunnymund, it's a vastly different character, looks and personality wise.
Despite that, I enjoyed reading this book. I may be far above the intended age, but I loved reading about this wonderful world and characters. The illustrations are a lovely addition to the story. The plot isn't exactly complicated, nor do characters get a lot of growth while progressing through the story, but that's to be expected for a childrens book with 251 pages.
Overall it's a lovely book. I would give it a 3.5 rating if I could, because it's definitely worth more than 3.
