This was a fun book to read and I love the premise of the novel. The format at the book and meta-writing style was interesting to read. I really enjoyed the first half of the novel, but as this is a stand-alone story, the romance and plot felt a bit rushed in the end. I think the stakes and the reveal happened to quickly, and ultimately, the final fight and conclusion wrapped up in a way that didn’t feel entirely believable. The win just felt too easy. Two human girls, yes with the help of magical beings, was able to take out the main villain that quickly when the two very powerful vampires couldn’t come up with their own plan to defeat the villain? But regardless it still has a quick read that I enjoyed reading!
