Lucas' first case as a detective involves the disappearance of two girls. He gets some leads, meets Del, reports to Daniels, solves another case. A homeless man is accused of taking the girls, he's killed, Lucas forgets about his other leads and life goes on. 30 years later - the girls bodies are found and the killer is still alive. Lucas digs out his old notes, starts asking questions. When Marcy is killed while interviewing a woman who escaped from the killer sometime after the Jones girls disappeared, then the case gets personal for Lucas.
