Seal the Deal is a sweet and romantic story of two strong people getting a second chance at love. Jake is swoony and just all in straight from the get-go because he has been in love with Charlie since they were teenagers.

Charlie, on the other hand, has been hurt, and it shows. She's rebuilding her self-confidence whilst showing her kids that they deserve love and affection.

This was well written, but it did get a bit repetitive when Charlie would lose her confidence and take it out on Jake. There were a lot of trust issues, then reassurance and rinse and repeat. I do feel like that is maybe a bit of a me problem though, because I don't like wishy-washy flip-flopy FMCs, and it felt like Charlie was like that.

But otherwise, a pretty solid debut!!
