*whew* this series holds a special place in my heart because it was my very first book that got me into reading, my very first YA, and the very first book that made me cry. Man this book had me in my feels the entire time. I still think about Bree to this day. I think I really like Bree because there's a part of me that wishes for the balls and bravery that she has. Now there were times when I was yelling at Bree because she didn't make the best decisions and ticked me off. When she came into her powers, I thought she would change, she did slightly, but was still making decisions that had me frustrated. Whenever it came to her mom... man I was in tears. To see the connection between her and her mom, her ancestors when it came to her root power, I loved it. I will say that Nick wasn't all that to me, just my opinion.
