12:01 When the ultimate lick back just may turn into true love. Midnight’s love is a definite upgrade. Tyme levels up!

After spazzing out and trying to ruin the wedding of the man who broke her heart and decided to marry someone else, Tyme found herself in jail for the night and stuck with the twin brother of her ex-fiancé Malachi, who she refers to as “satan’s son”.  

What started as an evening to help Tyme get over Malachi ended with inhibitions being thrown out the door at 12:01 am on New Year's Day and Tyme and Midnight (the twin brother) getting together.

Let me begin by stating I love the setup of this book, the writing, and the storyline. I love the fact that this book started with a pre chapter to get you ready with a backdrop, then ended with not only an epilogue but also a novella to accompany the epilogue. I was not thrilled with the ending of the book because I felt more was needed to really wrap up the love story of Midnight and Tyme, which is why I loved the “12:01 Aftermath” novella. This was a nice touch. None of it was needed to understand and enjoy the book, but I loved the idea of this pre-chapter and novella in between the epilogue. I also loved the music playlist that accompanied the book. I also loved the writing style, which included text message chats and images. These elements were great additions. It’s all about the details and Bella Jay, is definitely about the details. 

I laughed, I swooned, I enjoyed… I even loved all characters except Tia… I have no love for her at all.
