Alright, wow! Hands down the best YA Fantasy that I've ever read! Each individual character felt unique and their dynamics when interacting with one another had me feeling some serious real human emotions. The darker elements of this story felt incredibly adult, and that grit only aided to make the stakes feel higher and more tangible for the reader. A ragtag, morally grey band of thieves and worse...I really couldn't ask for more. Would love to see Kaz and Jorg from The Broken Empire Trilogy duke it out.
