Extremely fast-paced to the point that there were more scene jumps than "story" if that makes any sense. Mildly creepy but not much. I did not like the language. The cover is really cool. Overall, just meh. I won't continue the series, but I am glad that this isn't a standalone. I feel this could have the makings of a very exciting novel if it were longer and slower-paced. The characters really have potential too.
