Amy and dan were one of the cutes romance throughout the book especially  when she gave him a new fanta after the night dan got puked on.
 On the bus she snuggled into him and supported  his art work 

After the trip they have to part ways and it puts a block in the relationship  they could of had so dan suggests they stay friends but  amy is hurt by it as she really likes dan 

"How lucky am I to have something  that makes  saying goodbye  so hard" 

Page 291 made me squeal dan and amy had their first game at a Tennis game and it happened  to be amys favorite team
 The first letter amy sent dan from the trip was so cute had a hand written note and a photo of them together
 I read the authors note and it said amy and him were still friends in 2007 I really hope they ended up dating and actually spending  their lives together  like they should have in this book, I need a 2nd book of the authors life now/after the trip 
 I absolutely  loved this book I could not put it down
