Angelina Ballerina by Helen Craig, Katharine Holabird

3.0

Little mouse by the name of Angelina dreams of dancing. She dances everywhere – to the detriment of everything else. Her mother has had enough after Angelina accidentally breaks things. Her father comes up with the idea to give her dance lessons. This pinpoints her focus.

Good lesson in determination and that if you work for something, you can make it come true.

This one didn’t have staying power for my fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. Drawings were cute, but there were no calls to linger here.
