I’ve began to read the Hannibal series chronologically beginning with Hannibal Rising, this was the second in that order and it was even better. Will is such an interesting and haunted protagonist, his ability to step into the mindset of anyone was fascinating. The red dragon was a particularly scary but sympathetic character. The dynamics between Will and Hannibal and Will and Crawford also added to the tension of the story. Will in his hopes to save people ends up being used by Crawford and taunted by Hannibal. Excellent story. 🌿🌻
