Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson
3.0
I liked this book, it wasn't the most thrilling of thrillers but it was a decent effort. From the beginning of the book you wake up in Christine's world, a woman who has lost her memory. She has no ability so it seems to retain memories. Who is she? who is the man next to her? why can't she remember? as you ask yourself these questions, so does she. As the chapters progress the answers start to reveal much more than what you are initially lead to believe. The only flaw in to me in this story is that you spend a majority of the book discovering who is Christine. How she lost her memory, what her family life was like, who her husband is, the plot twist happened so late in the book and really felt under developed. It under whelmed the ending instead of building up this tension for a great release.
