Some moments of brilliance, some moments where it felt as if other authors were being summarised to pad the word count (and an end note confirming this was the case, albeit not necessarily the motivation). There was a point about 90% of the way in where I thought this might be a five star for me. Ultimately it wasn't, but I enjoyed the ride.
