I finished, but it was a push. I found myself skimming parts because it was really slow story progression.
It's basically a slasher film, and there weren't very many twists, as the few there were happened early on in the story. You find out who the kidnappers were from the start, and then they proceed to try to kill Darby while she fights to survive them.
At times, Darby was very stupid and made horrible choices, but that's what drives these books and makes it more heart racing, I suppose. It's just an annoyance of mine. And the bad guys were soooooo over the top extra. I rolled my eyes so many times.
The ending was a nice surprise, though. So there's that.
