Wanted - Bad Boyfriend by T.A. Moore

4.0

This was funny and sweet with two lovable main characters. I love the name Flynn, so having a main character with that name was already a bonus, making him a bit of a diamond in the rough was just the icing on the cake. Nate, the second main character was initially more of a homebody who just wanted to stop people from fixing him up. His fool-proof plan was to find a bad boyfriend only to later break up with him.
Max, Nate's best friend, wasn't a great best friend in my opinion but he was a source of both some comic relief and some drama, a multi-purpose character if you will. Rounding off the cast were Teddy, Max's dad and Nate's boss and Ally, Nate's mum.
Now this being a romance, we already know how the plan will end, but getting there was a very enjoyable journey, helped along by some supporting cast. Nate's a wedding planner and the way some of the wedding guests and events were written was spot on and instantly recognisable. The romance was more head over heels than slow-burn but not over the top. In fact, the story line and the characters were amongst the more realistic ones I've read in this genre. For a sweet, not-so-bad -boy romance, this is highly recommended.
