Honestly I enjoyed Fate I would give it 3 stars on its own. It was kind of cute and pretty easy to read. 

Kink was a whole different experience. 

There were several inconsistencies from how Fate had ended. I also didn't love the way that Paul's character was expanded on. The way their relationship progressed was also upsetting.

Paul became much more violent then had even been hinted at in Fate. The relationship did not feel like a healthy BDSM dynamic. It felt like she was being coerced or brainwashed because the kinks just got more extreme, and we didn't get to see any of the negotiation. It seemed like Paul made a choice and didn't care if Emily would actually enjoy it for herself.

Overall I would give Kink a 2 star rating.
