Dua Belas Pasang Mata (Twenty Four Eyes) by Sakae Tsuboi

When I read this book, my emotions went up and down, not because it was angry but because it was sad. Here we also see the reality caused by war, especially for the lower class people. Mrs. Oishi is really a teacher who is really easy to love, she also saw her students from they were kids until they become adult which is very rare in real life, they have such a strong bond.
And because there are so many students, sometimes i forget whether this person is a girl or a boy, or what personality this person is (based on the characters introduction on the first page).
