Soo, I might have read this book without knowing it was the second book in the series. However, except for maybe a little bit more confusion who was who, this wasn't that big of an issue. I really enjoyed the book, and it was a quick read. I did not see the ending coming at all, which was very nice. However, and perhaps this has to do with me reading this book without the first one, at some point I was kinda lost who was related to whom, especially with the flashbacks to the parents of the main characters. Overall, really enjoyed this read
