Himbo serial killer alert! A category of himbo that I didn't know could exist, and here here he is! Nico was such a big, adorable dumb dumb and I loved him 😂 He was so sweet, but also his dark side was so intense. His instant love for Blake and the way their relationship started was...silly? But in a cute way? He really thought his efforts to keep Blake safe in his care would be appreciated, letting his guard down again and again while Blake did normal human things like try to run, and call for help. Even after Blake konked him on the head and almost got them killed by an assassin, Nico was still smitten with him and determined to keep him safe and try to convince him to be his boyfriend. I wish Blake had come around a lot sooner, although I still enjoyed the parts of the book where he was pulling away and they were fighting. They still worked together, and in the end he was able to see that even when Nico was upset with him, he still only wanted the best for him. I really enjoyed this book, and I'm looking forward to more in this series next Christmas!
