You Will Get Through This Night is one of the most assuring books a human being can read. I bought this book on release day, and I knew that the best thing for me to do would be to save it for a time when I really needed it. I am thankful to say that it took over half a year for me to get to this position, but alas, I got there. And after only a couple of days of reading, I instantly feel better, more knowledgeable, and more confident in terms of how I can continue to look after myself.
This book provides immediate help for someone in a crisis, but also provides ways to maintain a healthy mental state. Hearing this come from Daniel Howell, someone I have looked up to for many years, was a very therapeutic experience, as if it was coming from an old friend.
I have only positive things to say about this book. Despite its very serious subject matter, Daniel makes the reading experience really enjoyable with his iconic humour. The audiobook also adds a lot to it.
