Reading A Perfect Vintage feels like sitting on a patio in a stunning garden in full sunshine eating bruschetta and drinking a glass of wine. It's fresh, fulfilling, a little bit messy, and deliciously sensual.
I loved the focus that Fagan put on creating such realistic characters - they're flawed and imperfect and often react in a way that you don't want them to, but they have a life of their own and you just can't help but love them...even if you don't always like them. This book does an incredible job of building a romance that is sexy and real, but also aspirational.
All in all, it is the most perfect summer romance novel, especially if you're looking for something with a bit more emotional and developmental depth.
