It's not often that a book develops characters that I hate or hope something extremely bad happens to them, but this book was able to accomplish that. In this book, everybody associated with the justice system in rural Alabama made me dislike them because they were framing a murder on a quiet black man just so they could create their hate filled agenda against minorities.
