The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne
5.0
Wow, just...wow. Amazing book. Fairly unpredictable, dark, sexy, heart wrenching for sure.
Farah was a wonderful heroine. Sweet yet spunky, I loved hearing her story and watching her fall in love. I loved her dialogue.
Dorian. Oh my. I know my explanation will not do him justice. His first scene, when he meets Farah while incarcerated at Scotland Yard just totally captivated me. He is so dark, abused, just sucks you in and you can’t turn away.
The side characters are all amazing. I loved quite a few of the side characters and it really helped bring the story together.
The love scenes were unlike any I’ve read. Long, descriptive, I burned when I read these.
This was such an emotional book. Loved going through the feelings with them. Dorian may have ruined me for many other “lesser” heroes in my future books I read. This was my first by Kerrigan Byrne and I would love to read more from her.
