I tried finishing it 7 times. Technically I did finish it twice but I was not at all paying attention. I give up. I enjoyed the books that were collections of short stories the most (Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, and Season of Storms). The rest of the books had very interesting minor characters but every storyline with Ciri was dreadful, I did not want to read those parts. Yennefer too at times was almost as annoying as Ciri. Something about the female characters was so unlikeable. The most likeable female characters either died or appeared briefly.
