“It’s not fair how someone can do everything right and still be hurt because someone else does one thing wrong.” He did it again. Broke my heart all over again. His writing can’t help but give me hope for the characters only for things to turn out so differently than I wanted them to. Definitely NOT a light read. This book is for more of a I wanted to cry and have my heart broken type of mood. I loved how we also see the characters from the first book and experience the parallels between them. I definitely recommend reading or rereading they both die at the end before reading this book as it’s adds a nice touch to those specific scenes. Their ending was so beautiful. I didn’t see it coming until the last moment. One last gift.
