Well this was impressive and such a unique concept! The murders are all an interpretation of the works of Shakespeare and whilst I'm not a Shakespearian die-hard, this had me hooked from the off. The book switches between the police investigation and the serial killer himself, so you really do get the best of both worlds in this. However there is no murder mystery, as you know who the killer is immediately but, surprisingly, that only adds to the thrill and suspense of the police chase to catch him. I loved the duo of Fred and Toby, i can't wait to see more of them in the next book, but I also loved the killers one liners! Hamlet is supposed to be a tradegy but this book had me laughing throughout, to the point i nearly woke my baby up several times😅 The ending was very fitting. Hale really is an excellent writer and I look forward to reading the killers next acts in Othello's revenge!
