GREAT debut novel and first book in a series

4.5 stars rounded up. I pretty much felt hooked by this book from the first chapter. The writing /prose early on felt beautiful and unique in terms of the way Arwen explained her world. For the most part I really enjoyed the pacing and hanging out with these characters even though there was a couple of slower parts. Some of the dialogue felt a little forced / awkward, but I think that’s to be expected with a debut novel.

Kane is everything you need and want in a morally grey MMC and I ate it all up! I need more Kane!!

Cannot wait for the next book in the series!
