Modern fantasy with fae and other supernatural beings. I've always loved the modern settings mixing with magic and this one had some unique magic elements. As a small note, many main characters are torn from their real lives and can't continue them as the plot progresses which is not the case here, I loved that the main character continued working at her job and keep up with her passions.  I also enjoyed how the magic was a living thing, much like how shifter books often have a an animal persona and the person persona (like the inner wolf). The story was interesting, my only qualm is that the female narrator read the men's voices a little bit robot-y but it wasn't enough that I needed to stop listening.
