To be honest I still had 50 pages left but I simply could not make myself read them. Getting to that point was enough of an effort that I'm still giving myself full credit though. What happened to Holly Black? Does she think that writing adult fiction means making people awkwardly swear and spit on each other all the time for some reason? There has certainly been no advancement in plot or character complexity (and a downgrade in their compellingness) since the YA stuff. Also, the cat is called luci-purr
