Black Like Me by John Howard Griffin

What an amazing and brave story! I started this one awhile ago... But put it down. Then with what has been going on in this country (US) regarding race relations recently I picked it back up. It's a true story of a white guy in the 50s who darkened his skin so he could see what it was like to be a black male in the south. This book at one point was required reading in school, I'm not sure if it is but it definitely should be! I think people could learn a lot from this man's story.
