I was completely engaged until about 1/2 way. When she got more into her own life and the weather in the town I lost so much interest. Literally five pages on the sand storm for no reason! I loved the court case pieces and loved her comparisons of football to slavery - so much to think about and explore! But all the pieces of her own life lost me. I skimmed all of this parts.
