I got totally absorbed in this book. I thought Meg was a great character, the author did a wonderful job of showing all of her conflict and desperation at being inexplicably thrown from the 21st century back to the 13th. I liked that she alternated perspectives between Meg and Prince Llewyllyn. Sometimes it seems tacky but not with this book. They sucked me in with this prequel to the series, I bought the bundle for my kindle as soon as I finished!
