The Prophets is the hum in the night, the whimper, that comes out when the body knows conforming will not work. Once you see the light of decolonization you are no longer blind to the possibility of liberation. I will swim across the river like Zay and maybe Samuel will greet me at the shore.  Perhaps then will I no longer be bound by these invisible chains.  Perhaps the chains are already being broken as I continue to imagine a world where we are no longer bound. Robert Jones Jr—thank you for helping us on our journey to liberation with this profound piece of literature.
