Armentrout continues Luc's story in this book. I love Luc and Evie together, but this book was a roller coaster of revelations that takes the reader up and down in emotions. To me that is always a sign of a great book. The action in this novel keeps the reader going wanting to know what will happen next and what will be revealed. The ending of this book primes the reader for book 3 (like you will want to have it in your hands immediately). I love the Lux series and I really recommend this spin off of the series with Origin. I recommend that you read the Lux series first but be warned you will have a hard time deciding which characters you love the most.
