Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

5.0

It's a classic work of literature and the narrative does full justice to its dystopian setting.

I still can't believe it was written in 1953. What an imagery, what a description of a futuristic world. I bow to Ray Bradbury. This is the first time that I've read something written by him, and am gonna read more of his works.

To imagine a world where television would rule, and the written word would be disgraced and outlawed is exemplary and beyond any reviews.

The characters have so many layers to them. The first half of the book is a hell for litterateurs, but in the second half the hell breaks loose. Can we imagine what a world like that would feel to us? Well, Ray Bradbury did.
