As an Asian American young woman who grew up in the Midwest I really related to this book. I think that in the AAPI community there is a lot of pressure to be and to feel like you're 'Asian enough' and I think that this notion is written into the book so sincerely. I think that this book is honestly just a fun read. It's sort of Crazy Rich Asians meets TATBILB!
