This might be my favorite book series, and this last volume is just as adventurous and emotional as the others. This book follows Jack/Lord Hawthorn and Alan, the last couple of the trilogy, although Robin, Edwin, Maud, and Violet are present throughout the whole thing. We get so much insight into Jack and Alan as characters, including their past traumas and current fears (and kinks) as they're roped into this found family. This book is a fitting climax for the series, and it was interesting to see how the race for the last contract would be wrapped up.
