Bear with me and my adhd ramble. I’m slowly uncovering I would like my plot and depth in my books vs, full on fluff. Not that this was bad and I will certainly finish the series mostly I own the last book in the set series. I just feel like it’s the same concept, different setting. I did love the relationship Mac built with Coopers twin brother Evan and how in the end he had her back. Also relationship built on lies and then cooper is like it’ll be fine if I had this from her, it’s better this way. No dummy that’s the wrong decision. But I digress. I was hoping for some sort of resolution with Mac’s parents. We got close but no where there. Also Mac and Cooper butted heads living together quite a bit. There was growth that needed to happen there too. You can’t just be like, but I love you and think that will solve everything. I also wish this had more beach vibes than it did. Was looking for more books to fill my beach era reads. Also I’m currently in a cranky mood for no reason which if you know me never happens. All of that to say I wonder if I was in my normal happy go lucky mood if that would have altered my opinion of this book.
