Great concept (hello, middle grade Firestarter!), but this was not what I was hoping for at all. I kind of liked the twist with the older sister and younger brother, but it made Aly feel like an even bigger dud of a character with nothing to offer. I don’t think I’ll be recommending this to kids at school.
