I recently discovered Marni Mann at the end of January, and I've been enjoying her audiobooks ever since. "The Lawyer" is no exception. The spice level in her storytelling is just right, making for an engaging and enjoyable listen. 

What I appreciate about this book is its simplicity and focus on everyday life. While it may not be an outstanding, edge-of-your-seat thriller, sometimes that's exactly what I'm looking for. It's an easy listen, perfect for those times when I want to unwind with something more casual. There's no intense action or deep mystery, but that's okay. Not every book needs to be hardcore to be enjoyable. 

One thing I noticed, and other readers have mentioned as well, is the strong character development. Mann has a real knack for creating relatable and authentic characters, and the chemistry between the protagonists really shines through. Her writing style is smooth and engaging, making it easy to get lost in the narrative.

Marni Mann continues to deliver, and I look forward to exploring more of her work and the others in this series. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to her writing, this book offers a delightful escape into the intricacies of everyday life and relationships.
