Absolutely fantastic end to the trilogy. Each tome was better than the last, and this one went places I did not expect. Character depth, growth and backstory took this series from a fun children's book to a very intelligent coming of age story, dealing with complex power structures, and a colonialist and oppression based society - and yet also filled with jokes. The stakes were raised and the ending delivered. I want every fantasy reader to read this trilogy!
Moderate: Slavery and Police brutality
