Steffan has always intrigued me. I wondered how his personality was so different from the other dragons. His story is so sad. It makes you want to give him a big hug. After reading about all he had to go through you understand him more and get why he does/acts the way he does. While the central plot is implementing the plan from the previous vol, we get another mystery in trying to figure out who is trying to attack the community. We are also treated to the sweet moments between Stef and Wil. That pairing was surprising but I'm not mad about it. This book has all the feels you'd expect and a surpising twist you never expected. Definitely recommend it to close out this chapter in this universe.
