Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
What a fantastic way to end the series... not that I want it to be over, but since it is I am satisfied. The book kept me on edge, made me tear up plenty (and when you are reading with others around, it is hard to hide that damnit), and of course I laughed and smiled. So many times through this book I was thinking back to past books and remembering so many different moments.
The biggest thing for me is that Sarah J Maas managed to make the finale worth reading. Too many books build and build, just for a quick wrap-up, yet she spans it out so well. You feel satiated, and not left hungering for more or wondering what the point was.
Maybe we can get a novella of what things look like in 10 years or so. :D
