I enjoyed this book. It’s a good plot-forward story about family secrets and inter-generational relationships wrapped around a mysterious treasure.
But I felt there were too many characters and too many diverse threads for the story to solidly come together. And with characters across multiple generations, it made it tricky to keep track of everyone.
The teenage protagonist, Dandy, was delightful, though, and I’d love more stories about her.
