Sad as hell and kind of unbelievably legit. If every band/artist/cultural movement got a book like this, the world would be a better place.

A little too much music biz trainspotting, and I wish there was more quotidian context and more music talk, and the editing and storytelling runs out of steam a bit in the final quarter... But still a triumph.
