A Flicker in the Dark is the first book in a while where I was truly thrown for a loop. I didn’t see all of intricate details and mind blowing twists coming. It was refreshing. While the book is much slower paced, I feel like it fits the story well. Slowly explaining all of these little tiny details and events and stories all for it to come back later in the book and make you have lightbulbs going off over your head. I absolutely loved this dark dark story.
