The Book of the Dead by Douglas Preston

5.0

I loved this final book in the Diogenes trilogy. The two previous books (as well as the earlier books in the series) set this one for a horrifying conclusion which will test our main characters and leave audiences shaken. I originally didn't love Diogenes as a villain character when I first read this series and read through these ones to get to the later books, but this time around I felt like I appreciated him more and this trilogy. I enjoyed the ancient Egypt elements (I'm a huge fan of archeological horror) and the incorporation of the NY museum again.
