Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come: An Introvert's Year of Living Dangerously by Jessica Pan

As a (sh)introverted also contemplating loneliness and how I can expand my friend groups to avoid feeling stuck and isolated in this big world full of unknowns, I latched onto this book.
The author explored many fun and/or quirky and unexpected challenges to see what she could do if she put her mind to it. I commend these endeavors and while some may be too grand for me, the fact she did it is inspiring all the same. Reading this I felt like I wasn't completely alone and adrift in Introvertland and that even into your 30s and beyond, cultivating meaningful friendships is possible and attainable.
While many of the things she takes on are more extroverted or outgoing, she does make a point to say that you don't have to fully abandon yourself to make friendships happen. There's a lot of wiggle room. It gives me hope.
