I really liked this book.

The abuse in the book was not desirable but I liked the story. It was dark and sad. A journey of a girl moving from a life of innocence into a tainted world. I liked the characters, even Adair because you need a good villain. I went looking for the other books in the trilogy and found the second book good and I am excited to read the third. There is also a 2.5 book which I will look for as well.
